- Security Engineer Job Location – Hyderabad
Osi Digital is looking for a Security Engineer to support the business in achieving its strategic objective. The primary role of the L1/L2 Engineer is to direct all aspects of a Managed Services client experience, individually and through the resources and vendors available. Also, help to protect an organization by employing a range of technologies and processes to prevent, detect and manage cyber threats. This role reports to the SOC Team Lead. Upon Success in this role, the person will have an opportunity to grow into a Sr. Associate, Lead role and explore new technologies and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity.
- Ensure timely delivery of status updates and final reports to clients
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing and configuration review for network, web application, mobile application and thick -client application.
- Works in ticketing system to solve day-to-day technical requests & escalated issues.
- Monitor identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorized system users
- Separate true threats from false positives using network and log analysis and escalate possible intrusions and attacks
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in Information Security, Network Security or a combination of both. Hands-on Experience on working as level 2 SIEM Admin on multiple SIEMs.
- Information security related experience, in areas such as: security operations, incident analysis, incident handling, and vulnerability management or testing, system patching, log analysis, intrusion detection, or firewall administration.
- Experience in Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) and Security information and event management (SIEM) Platforms.
- Working experience and knowledge of security related technologies such as intrusion prevention and detection systems, web proxies, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, firewalls, web application scanner, vulnerability scanners and forensics tools.
- Has practical experience in auditing various OS, DB, Network and Security technologies.
- Hands on experience with popular security tools – Nessus, Burpsuite, Netsparker, Metasploit, KALI Linux).

- Never worked in the Managed Services / Support Environment
