Job Summary

We are looking for an L2 Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in NGINX and Akamai to manage, operate, and support web security and traffic management platforms. The role involves day-to-day operations, incident handling, configuration changes, automation, and coordination with L1 teams, application teams, and vendors to ensure secure and highly available services.

Strong understanding of:

• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, routing)
• Web security concepts and OWASP Top 10

Hands-on experience with:

• NGINX
• Akamai

Working knowledge of:

• Linux/Unix environments
• SSL certificates and encryption
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools

Operations & Support

Handle L2 escalations from L1 and customer support teams

Participate in:

• Incident management
• Change management
• Problem management

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and prepare incident reports

Support planned activities such as:

• Migrations
• Upgrades
• Capacity planning

Ensure SLA compliance and high availability of services
