As a Security Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls, youserve as a seasoned member of a team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. Carry out critical technology solutions with tamper-proof, audit defensible methods across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities

  • Demonstrate of mature design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
  • Excellence in analytical, written/verbal communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong work ethic
  • Able to translate business requirements into solutions
  • Must demonstrate a strong knowledge of applications and their development throughout all phases of the SDLC
  • Must have the ability to work in a complex data environment as well as the ability to partner with the business and IT to find creative data solutions to business problems
  • Must possess the ability to work and research/resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues and team members
  • Must be able to communicate complex issues in a crisp and concise fashion to multiple levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with technical, non-technical, and business members of the organization

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Min of 8+ Years of exp. in SQL , Oracle, No SQL Database
  • Experience in migrating datafrom legacy platforms to AWS
  • Hands-on experience in implementing data solutions using DBT and Kestra.
  • Experience in UNIX and/or AIX operating environment and UNIX shell scripting is required
  • Knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, data modeling and data manipulation skills, such as in SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle.
  • Business Driven and Test-driven development experience
  • Familiar with CI/CD and SDLC development tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Git/Stash etc.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Python, any ETL tool
  • Hands-on experience onInformatica is desired.
