  • Track and manage remediation activities in collaboration with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams
  • Monitor threat intelligence feeds to correlate identified vulnerabilities with emerging exploits and real-world risks
  • Prepare executive dashboards and periodic reports covering vulnerability trends, remediation SLAs, and compliance status
  • Maintain thorough documentation for tool configurations, operational procedures, and change management record.
  • Configure, operate, and optimize enterprise vulnerability scanning platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or OpenVAS
  • Customize scan policies, templates, schedules, and credentials aligned with business and security requirements
  • Ensure accurate asset discovery, classification, and tagging to maintain reliable and comprehensive scanning coverage
  • Troubleshoot tool-related issues and coordinate with vendors for resolution when required
  • Perform routine health checks, patching, version upgrades, and plugin updates for all vulnerability management tools

The Skills You Bring:

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise vulnerability management tools such as Tenable Nessus/SC, Qualys, Rapid7 InsightVM, or OpenVAS
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability scoring frameworks including CVSS and risk-based prioritization methodologies
  • Solid knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), network protocols, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with OWASP, CVE/NVD, and threat intelligence sources and feeds
  • Experience with asset management, discovery tools, and network scanning techniques
  • Manage the full lifecycle of security tools, including planning, deployment, monitoring, upgrade.
  • Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and CIS Benchmarks
  • Experience supporting audits and contributing to risk assessment and remediation reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to validate and contextualize vulnerability findings
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex security data clearly to both technical and executive audiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams including infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills
