Security Consultant-Data Security

Key Responsibilities:

Security Consulting & Advisory

• Analyze client business requirements and current security posture to recommend and implement best-fit security solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on application security, providing guidance to development, QA, and security teams.
• Advise clients on application security frameworks, secure coding practices, and DevSecOps implementation.

Application Security & Testing

• Conduct threat modeling, secure code reviews, penetration testing, vulnerability testing, and SAST/DAST assessments.
• Implement and enforce clean code principles and secure software development practices.
• Identify security gaps and recommend remediation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of security practices into application development.
• Train and mentor team members in procedural and technical security topics.
• Communicate security risks and solutions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
