Security Compliance Lead

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the organization's cybersecurity governance program aligned with ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, GDPR, CCPA, and other frameworks.
• Execute enterprise-wide compliance strategies consistent with IT and corporate security objectives.
• Drive certification and surveillance audit readiness across business units.
• Develop, maintain, and socialize information security policies, standards, guidelines, and SOPs.
• Lead internal and external audits including planning, documentation, walkthroughs, evidence mapping, and auditor coordination.
• Prepare remediation plans, drive closure with respective teams, and maintain CAPA tracking.
• Interact directly with clients and external auditors, providing evidence and compliance explanations.
• Conduct hands-on, risk-based assessments and maintain the enterprise risk register.
• Identify gaps in existing processes/controls and drive remediation across teams.
• Perform information asset classification, threat assessment, and vulnerability evaluation.
• Participate in security incident investigations from a compliance and documentation perspective.
• Ensure proper evidence preservation, reporting, and process adherence following incidents.
• Drive organization-wide awareness programs on security policies, compliance obligations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with physical security and HR on badge access, insider risk, investigations, and other overlapping compliance issues.
• Support client security assessments, questionnaires, and RFP responses.

Required Skills

• Ability to process complex information in a dynamic environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to liaise with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in IT Security, with an emphasis on governance, risk, and compliance. Must possess depth of experience in infrastructure technology, systems development, audit, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required, with a preference towards a master's degree, ideally in business.
• 5+ years of experience in IT Security, with an emphasis on governance, risk, and compliance. Must possess depth of experience in infrastructure technology, systems development, audit, and risk management.
