Security Architecture Lead

We are seeking an experienced Security Architecture Lead to oversee the security architecture strategy for our organization. This role will involve designing robust security solutions to protect our digital assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of security architecture across the organization.
• Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities within the existing security infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT and software development teams to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle.
• Research emerging security technologies and recommend solutions to enhance the security posture of the organization.
• Oversee security audits and assessments, ensuring adherence to security best practices and regulations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security architects and team members.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10-20 years of experience in security architecture or related field.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, etc.).
• Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption techniques.
• Experience with cloud security architecture and securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of application security principles and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements (GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA) and risk management frameworks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
