Security Architect

We are looking for an experienced Security Architect to join our Engineering team and drive a security-first culture across applications, cloud platforms, infrastructure, and AI-enabled solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Application Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, DevSecOps, and experience embedding security practices across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive security architecture standards, principles, and best practices across engineering platforms.
• Review application, cloud, infrastructure, and platform designs from a security perspective.
• Enable secure-by-design development practices across SDLC.
• Lead application security initiatives including threat modeling, secure coding, vulnerability management, SAST/DAST, dependency & container security.
• Design and strengthen security controls across AWS/Azure/hybrid cloud environments.
• Partner with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and automate security validations.
• Establish security baselines for cloud services, containers, Kubernetes, IAM, networking, and infrastructure.
• Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and provide architectural guidance for critical initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to build a strong security culture.
• Define security frameworks and controls for emerging technologies including Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience in Security Architecture / Application Security / Cloud Security.
• Strong hands-on experience in both Application & Infrastructure Security.
• Experience with secure software development practices and DevSecOps implementation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure), IAM, networking, containers, and Kubernetes security.
• Experience with security automation, CI/CD security tools, and vulnerability management.
• Ability to influence engineering teams and drive security adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, TOGAF.
• Experience with security frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, PCI-DSS.
• Exposure to AI security, LLM security, prompt injection risks, AI governance, and data protection.
