Overview
Security Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that align with our customer's business objectives and protect its information assets. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, and the ability to balance security requirements with business needs. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team of security experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Consulting with our customers to develop, implement and maintain a holistic enterprise security architecture, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together to provide a robust and scalable security posture.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior leadership on risk mitigation strategies, balancing business agility with security requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement security policies, standards, and guidelines that align with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and processes to enhance the organization's security capabilities and address emerging threats.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to integrate security measures into the overall enterprise architecture, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring the organization is well-prepared to handle and recover from security incidents effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)) are highly desirable.
- 8+ years in security architecture roles within large enterprises.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in designing and implementing security solutions for cloud environments, on-premises systems, and hybrid architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance security requirements with business objectives.
- Understanding and experience with Industry standards and frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, ISO 27001/2, SOX, and PCI DSS
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
