Role Purpose
As a Security Expert for the Global Workload Automation Platform, you will ensure that our enterprise automation landscape remains secure, compliant, resilient, and future-ready. You will define and implement security standards, coordinate security initiatives across global teams, and continuously improve the architecture and operations of our Automation Platform.
You will work closely with Enterprise Security, Infrastructure, Application Teams, Architecture, and Worldwide Operations to secure mission-critical automation services running 24x7.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate penetration tests and drive remediation of security vulnerabilities.
Implement enterprise architecture and IT security standards across the automation platform.
Continuously improve platform architecture for security, scalability, and future readiness.
Administer Workload Automation platforms (UC4/Automic, Redwood RunMyJobs), including installation, upgrades, configuration, and agent lifecycle management.
Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security configurations.
Ensure platform availability through monitoring, performance tuning, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.
Provide 3rd Level Support and participate in 24x7 on-call operations.
Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with global teams, enterprise architecture, security, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and training materials.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Advanced Redwood RunMyJobs certifications (preferred).
Required Skills
Workload Automation:UC4/Automic, Redwood RunMyJobs, enterprise scheduling concepts.
Security:Platform hardening, RBAC, IAM, LDAP/AD, SSO, certificates, vulnerability management, compliance, penetration testing.
Infrastructure:Linux/Unix, Windows, Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL, TCP/IP, networking.
Automation:Shell, PowerShell, Python, REST APIs.
Operations:Monitoring, performance tuning, backup & recovery, HA/DR, incident management.
Experience
minimum 5+ years of experience in enterprise Workload Automation platform administration and security.
Experience supporting business-critical 24x7 environments and working with global teams.
