As a Security Architect, you will define and implement the security architecture for the organization, ensuring that it aligns with business requirements and performance goals. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's digital assets, ensuring data protection, and maintaining a secure IT infrastructure. Your expertise in security will help develop a robust defense strategy against potential threats.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME): Expected to be an SME in security architecture, contributing deep knowledge and guidance to the team.
- Team Collaboration and Leadership: Manage and collaborate with the team to deliver security solutions effectively. Make decisions that drive the team's success.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making: Provide solutions to security-related challenges both within your team and across multiple teams. Ensure that security measures are addressed efficiently.
- Lead Security Architecture Design: Design and implement security frameworks that meet business requirements. Take the lead on strategic security decisions and ensure their proper integration across systems.
- Conduct Security Assessments and Audits: Regularly conduct security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities, ensuring that all aspects of the system are secure.
- Develop Security Policies and Procedures: Create and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Stay Updated on Security Trends: Continuously monitor the evolving security landscape to ensure that the organization's security practices are up-to-date with the latest threats, technologies, and trends.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Application Security Architecture and Design: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in designing secure application architectures, ensuring they meet business and performance objectives.
- Strong Understanding of Cybersecurity Principles: Expertise in understanding and applying cybersecurity best practices to protect systems and data.
- Experience in Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment: Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective strategies to mitigate identified threats.
- Knowledge of Security Frameworks: Familiarity with industry-leading security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST, to ensure the organization adheres to compliance standards.
- Hands-On Experience with Security Tools: Proficiency with various security tools and technologies to safeguard systems and applications from internal and external threats.
Additional Information:
- Experience: The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Security Architecture and Design, with a proven track record of designing and implementing robust security solutions.
- Location: This position is based at our Pune office.
- Education: A 15 years full-time education (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and higher) is required.
