Summary:

As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework tailored to align with organizational objectives and performance standards. This role includes overseeing the documentation process for security controls and facilitating the smooth transition of these controls into managed cloud security operations. The position requires continuous evaluation and refinement of security architectures to support evolving business needs and technological advancements, ensuring robust protection across cloud environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of security strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure security compliance and risk mitigation.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in cloud security practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
• Experience with designing and implementing security architectures in cloud environments.
• Ability to assess security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements related to cloud security.
• Skilled in monitoring and responding to security incidents within cloud infrastructures.
