Summary:

In the role of Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This includes creating detailed architectural plans, overseeing the deployment of security controls, and ensuring a smooth transition to cloud security-managed services. The position requires continuous evaluation of security measures to maintain robust protection while supporting business performance and compliance requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and refinement of cloud security strategies to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive security implementation.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding their professional growth.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
• Experience with cloud security architectures and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of security controls implementation and monitoring.
• Ability to analyze security incidents and provide actionable insights.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to cloud environments.
