Summary:

As a Security Architect, your day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework tailored to align with organizational objectives and operational standards. You will focus on creating detailed architectural plans that support secure cloud adoption while ensuring seamless integration with existing business processes. Throughout the day, you will document security controls and oversee the transition of these controls into managed cloud security operations, collaborating with various teams to maintain a robust security posture.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security architecture aligns with business needs and compliance requirements.
• Continuously evaluate and improve cloud security strategies to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding security frameworks and best practices.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented security controls and recommend enhancements as necessary.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices within Amazon Web Services environments.
• Experience in designing and implementing security architectures that support scalable and secure cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with identity and access management, encryption, and network security in cloud platforms.
• Ability to assess security risks and develop mitigation strategies tailored to cloud infrastructures.
• Skilled in documenting security policies, procedures, and controls to support compliance and operational excellence.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security.
• This position is based at our DDC 1 - STPI office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
