In the role of Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This includes creating detailed architectural plans, overseeing the integration of security controls, and ensuring seamless transition to cloud security-managed services. The position requires continuous evaluation of security measures to maintain robust protection while supporting business performance and compliance requirements. Collaboration with various stakeholders to document and communicate security strategies is also a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of security policies and procedures within the cloud environment.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship to support the growth of junior team members.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of security architecture with business goals.
