In the role of Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and performance standards. This includes creating detailed architectural plans, overseeing the documentation of security controls, and facilitating the smooth transition of security operations to a cloud-managed environment. The position requires continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that security measures are effectively integrated and maintained throughout the cloud infrastructure lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and enforcement of security policies and standards within cloud environments.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to identify and mitigate security risks proactively.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Program Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing security architectures for cloud platforms.
- Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
