Summary:

As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role requires careful planning and documentation of security controls to ensure seamless integration and transition to managed cloud security operations. The position demands continuous evaluation of security architecture to support business needs while maintaining optimal performance and compliance within the cloud environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and enforcement of cloud security policies and best practices.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to identify and mitigate security risks within cloud environments.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture principles and frameworks.
• Experience with identity and access management in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with encryption technologies and data protection strategies in the cloud.
• Ability to design and implement security monitoring and incident response mechanisms.
• Understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory standards related to cloud security.
