Summary:

As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role requires careful planning and documentation of security controls to ensure a smooth transition to cloud security-managed services. The position demands continuous evaluation of the security architecture to maintain its effectiveness and adaptability to evolving business needs, while coordinating with various stakeholders to uphold security integrity across cloud environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the design and implementation of security strategies that support cloud infrastructure and services.
• Oversee the integration of security controls into cloud environments to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical and professional growth.

• Strong knowledge of identity and access management principles and best practices.

• Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
