Summary: As a Security Architect, you will define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to assess security needs, documenting security controls, and transitioning to cloud security-managed operations, all while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. You will play a crucial role in shaping the security landscape of the organization, addressing challenges, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance security posture. Roles & Responsibilities: - Build the Security Administration function, identifying the requirements, and developing the necessary processes to support them. - During the initial phases of transitioning administration from a local country to a regional model, carry out the hands on requirements expected from the team. - In line with workload demands and headcount approvals, expand the team. - Following the guidance from the Regional Cyber Security Section Head, identify the areas for which the Security Administration team should take responsibility. For example: user and role management of security related solutions, certificate management, security solution configuration management, etc. - Act as a subject matter expert for everything related to Identity & Access Management, providing guidance on centralized authentication, developing processes for overall management and access recertification. - When necessary, co-ordinate and support incident response efforts, including investigations, remediation, and documentation. - Manage relationships with external vendors that are utilized by the Regional Cyber Security team. - Act as the local management for security related resources located within Malaysia, including those outside of the Security Administration team that require local oversight. - When requested by the Section Head, provide assistance to other ongoing security initiatives outside of the Security Administration function. Professional & Technical Skills: - Bachelor's or above degree in Information Security, Computer Science or relate field is preferred. - At least 10 years of experience in hands on cybersecurity, with prior management experience in a Security Administration role. - Proven experience of running and maturing a Security Administration function. - Proven knowledge and experience with Identity & Access Management. - Strong understanding of various cyber security technologies addressing the protection of identities, data, applications, endpoints and infrastructure. - Demonstrated experience in applying security and risk frameworks such as: NIST, Mitre ATT&CK, Mitre DEFEND, ISO27K - Pro-active with multitasking capabilities, comfortable to work in both hands-on and leadership role. - Demonstrated track records of efficient, scaled delivery with small teams, directly taking on and providing deliverables with limited resources - Ability to articulate cyber risks to senior leadership within the context of corporate strategy and threat environment - Strong technical aptitude, including demonstrated ability to understand broad IT topics outside of cyber security - Demonstrated decision making, problem solving and leadership skills - Professional certificates are advantage - both technology agnostic (CISSP / CISM / SANS ) and technology specific. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Security Architecture Design. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
