Responsibilities
- Monitor fuel receipt, storage, handling, and consumption in line with approved procedures.
- Supervise weighbridge operations, fuel unloading/loading, and fuel issuance to generation units.
- Track daily fuel stock levels, fuel burn rates, and plant heat rate performance.
- Ensure accurate fuel reconciliation between received, consumed, and closing stock.
- Verify fuel quality parameters as per technical and contractual specifications.
- Implement and enforce fuel security protocols to prevent theft, pilferage, adulteration, or unauthorized usage.
- Supervise security personnel deployed at fuel yards, storage tanks, conveyors, pipelines, or fuel dumps.
- Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and surveillance related to fuel handling areas.
- Conduct routine inspections and surprise audits of fuel storage and transfer points.
- Investigate and report fuel losses, discrepancies, or security incidents.
Qualifications
Graduate with computer knowledge and minimum 5 years experience in the field of logistic security.
