Job Description

Job Title: Network & Linux TrainerRole Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Network & Linux Trainer to deliver high-quality technical training programs to students and professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering practical, industry-focused training sessions in Networking and Linux systems.

Success in this role means enabling learners to build strong foundational and advanced technical skills, preparing them for certifications and real-world job roles. This position plays a critical role in strengthening the organization's training division and enhancing learner outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver structured training programs on Networking and Linux concepts.
  • Conduct hands-on practical sessions, labs, and real-time simulations.
  • Develop course materials, presentations, assignments, and assessment tests.
  • Explain networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, OSI Model, Subnetting, Routing, Switching, VLANs, and Firewall concepts.
  • Train learners on Linux installation, configuration, shell scripting, user management, file systems, and server management.
  • Provide guidance for industry certifications such as CCNA, RHCSA, CompTIA Network+, etc.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest networking and Linux technologies.
  • Support students in project development and interview preparation.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, B.Tech, or related field and Final year Students also eligible
Experience
  • 0-1 years of experience in Networking, Linux administration, or Technical Training.
  • Experience in delivering classroom or online technical training sessions.
Technical Skills Required
  • Strong understanding of Networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat).
  • Shell scripting basics.
  • Server setup and configuration.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
  • Virtualization tools (VMware / VirtualBox).
Basic Trainer Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Good classroom management skills.
  • Patience and mentoring mindset.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Time management and session planning skills.
  • Confidence and leadership qualities.
