Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Execution of knowledge initiatives in the New Energy (Hydrogen and Energy storage Systems) and need based support for work in other sectors
- Execute and deliver fee-based or funded advisory assignments, including Scheme application advisory, Growth & partnership identification, policy advisory other Sector-specific knowledge dissemination under supervision of team leader, and support to the RH/TL in new business acquisition.
- As a sector expert research and demonstrate deep knowledge and insights of the business models, government schemes, ecosystem, latest trends, in the identified sector of focus ensuring comprehensive coverage of companies across the value chain.
- Identify opportunities to engage through knowledge initiatives such as Policy Advisory / White Papers, Sector-specific / state specific knowledge report with key ecosystem participants — across key industry players across the value chain, startups, regulators, and associations
- Compile data analyzed into a specific sector to generate insightful, actionable knowledge, extract outcomes and actionables in the preparation of knowledge articles/in-house reports/research on specific themes, sector, state, client discussion decks etc. .and contribute to the efforts to build mindshare for the bank
- Support in identifying opportunities and schemes for extending advisory to companies in the identified sector and techno-commercial research to identify possible prospects for outreach
- Collaborate with wholesale banking teams and transaction banking teams to deepen engagement and knowledge exchange
- Conceptualize initiatives to tap specific business opportunities for the bank in working with corporate clients and with the government & to build good will with key influencers and stakeholders.

Essential Competencies
- Relevant experience of at least 5-10 years – with at least 3-5 years preferably in Management Consulting, and Government Advisory
- Strong Sector knowledge and experience in Renewables (Solar, wind) and with a good grasp of emerging areas of New Energy (Hydrogen and Energy storage Systems among others )
- Experience in execution of diversified advisory assignments with corporate and Government clients across scheme advisory, policy advisory, investment promotion, Market Research, Transaction Advisory, Strategy Execution, Project structuring, financial modelling etc,
- Ability to independently prepare detailed project reports and necessary financial modelling for the same various kinds of projects in the sector including financial closure , submission to lenders, and/or for submission to authorities to secure incentives under schemes of the various agencies.
- Past involvement in commercial due-diligence for such projects
- Ability to building working relationships with clients and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Computing skills – Advanced skills in MS Office, Excel, Power point and use of consulting related tools, databases
- Highly customer focused, with high level of integrity and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel when required
- Ability and interest to build working relationships with business and basic knowledge of Banking products for corporates and governments is preferable
Keen interest in use of current and/or future AI tools and solutions.
Education
Essential: MBA/Equivalent from a Tier I institute, with 5-10 years experience and exception can be made for highly meritorious candidates
Preferred: Economics / Engineering background
