Section Manager - HSE

Minimum 20 years within an Engineering Company in HSE Department. Proven Minimum 10 years acting as a Head of HSe Engineering Department. Experience managing and directly overseeing 30+ specialists.Must have worked for, or collaborated with, international engineering organizations, indicating strong global project management skills

Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the role

• Preparation and review of deliverables related to Technical Safety/Environmental, as minimum but not limited to such as Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
• Participate in numerous workshop as Technical Safety/Environmental Engineer to advise on technical safety related aspect and concern at HAZOP, HAZID, 3D Model Review, HFE Review,
• Prepare specification, RFI/RFP and TBE for technical safety items.
• Ensure compliance international and specific country legal requirements
• Facilitate HAZOP, HAZID, SIL Determination, ALARP and ERP Workshop among others.
• Do the radiation and dispersion modeling using flaresm software (or any similar software) and review the simulations, analyzes, utilize.
• participate in numerous workshop as Technical Safety/Environmental Engineer to advise on technical safety related aspect and concern at HAZOP, HAZID, 3D Model Review, HFE Review,
• Monitoring man hour budget and prepare weekly workplan and update project progress.
• Ensure the schedule deliverables date are meet with high quality deliverables and action.

Technical Skills (including years of experience if need be)

l• Bachelor of Engineering in chemical descipline or Equivalent - Essential

• Possess a minimum of 20 years of experience as technical safety specialist and demonstrare experience in EPC companies-Essential

• Significant experience in engineering design of oil and gas facilities, Chemical Planst and Green Hydrogen Units-Essential

• Able to work in a project with minimum supervision. Manage a team more than 30 specialist technically and administrative-Essential

• A strong background in onshore oil and gas facility and brownfield project experience is an advantage-Essential

• Skilled in physical effects modeling, and Quantitative Risk Assessment, Experience with PHAST, FLARESIM, Exsilentia software-Essential

• Effective communicator who can influence key stakeholders -Essential

• Strong knowledge on Hazaradous area classification SCE/IPS, EERA, FERA, and other loss prevention analysis and risk assessment - Essential
