Role Description The Section Head role at Inaylak Tooling is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Section Head oversees daily operations within an assigned production or tooling section, ensuring output meets quality, safety, and delivery targets. This includes planning and allocating work, monitoring workflow, resolving operational issues, and coordinating with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams. The role involves leading and developing section staff through guidance, performance feedback, and skills development, while enforcing compliance with company policies and safety standards. The Section Head also supports process optimization by analyzing section performance, recommending improvements, and implementing agreed changes in collaboration with management.
Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or tooling operations, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality standards.
  • Proven team leadership capabilities, including staff supervision, workload planning, and performance management.
  • Ability to analyze operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement practical process improvements.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality, and maintenance.
  • Solid knowledge of workplace safety practices and compliance with relevant industrial regulations.
  • Minimum of a diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • Prior experience in a section head, supervisor, or similar role within an industrial or tooling environment is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with production reporting or ERP systems is an advantage.
