Section Head - Electrical

Role: Reliance Carbon Fiber -Engineering Services - Section Head - Electrical

Education: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 12 to 17 years

Job Description:

1. Planning & scoping of new projects in close cooperation with the production team / technology / maintenance / HSE / Quality.

2. Preparation & approval process of business case & project justification.

3. Selection of equipment & equipment supplier in close cooperation with the procurement team.

4. Carryout basic & detail engineering appropriately coordinating with required resources for the execution of the projects.

5. Manage execution of project including monitoring & reporting of planned vs actual (Time - budget scope).

6. Lead pre-commissioning activities of the new equipment and its acceptance.

7. Ensure proper hand over of the new installations including necessary documents such as manuals, drawings etc. along with proper project closure report.

8. Shared responsibility for OEE & OTIF with production, technology & maintenance for new installed equipment.

9. Obtain, upgrade & adopt state of the art & competitive technological installations to ensure highest Safety, efficiency, reliability and consistency standards.

10. Stimulate & support initiatives to enhance efficiency & effectiveness of the plant by monitoring & applying equipment innovation.

11. Deploy along with team world class asset management practices.

12. Keep abreast with latest project management practices along with agility.

Preferred Experience:

1. Professional having Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university with proven academic records.

2. 10+ years of working experience in managing industrial investment projects engaged in continuous manufacturing process.

3. Exposures in industries working with either or complex hazardous polymerization, distillation system, rotary equipment, high temperature processing & utilities.

4. Business case preparation & presentation.

5. Managing capex projects including documentation applying state of the art project management systems.
