Job Description

  • Secondment opportunity: 6-12 months / possible conversion to full time in 6-12 months
  • Location: Bangalore (secondment via Michael Page)
  • Lead and support M&A transactions end‑to‑end, including deal evaluation, structuring, drafting, negotiation, and execution of transaction documents.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on target entities, assess legal risks, and present findings with actionable recommendations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate term sheets, SPAs, SHAs, JV documents, and other transaction‑related agreements.
  • Bring strong experience in equity capital markets matters, including familiarity with IPOs, FPOs, rights issues, bonus issues, private placements, and QIPs, particularly in pre‑IPO and multi‑round fundraising environments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Counsel with minimum 7 years experience should have:

  • A law degree from a recognized institution.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Experience in the technology and telecoms industry or a related field.
