About The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic Secondary SST Teacher to fill a leave vacancy and deliver high-impact social science instruction across grades 8–10 — with a focus on critical thinking, civic awareness, and historical analysis in alignment with CBSE curricula.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics for Secondary classes (Grades 8–10).
- Design assessments, projects, and formative evaluations to track student progress and adapt instruction for diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with department heads and peer educators to refine lesson plans, share best practices, and participate in academic reviews.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents, maintain accurate attendance and grade records, and contribute to school-wide co-curricular initiatives.
- Uphold a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, ethical reasoning, and active citizenship.
Skills & Qualifications
- BA/B.Ed or B.Sc/B.Ed or B.Com in Social Science (History/Geography/Civics/Economics)
- CBSE curriculum experience (minimum 1–2 years teaching Secondary SST)
- Proficiency in lesson planning, student assessment, and classroom management techniques
- Fluency in English and Hindi (or regional medium of instruction)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues

Timings: 6.45am to 2.15pm
Duration: 1-2 months
