Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Secondary Physics Teacher to teach Physics to students at the secondary level (Grades 6–10 or Grades 9–10). The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, conducting laboratory experiments, assessing student performance, and supporting students academic growth in Physics.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Physics lessons aligned with curriculum standards (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
Teach key Physics topics such as:
Motion, Force, and Energy
Light and Sound
Electricity and Magnetism
Heat and Thermodynamics
Modern Physics basics
Use innovative teaching methods including demonstrations, experiments, and digital tools.
Maintain lesson plans and teaching records.
Laboratory Responsibilities
Conduct Physics laboratory experiments safely and effectively.
Demonstrate scientific principles using lab equipment.
Ensure proper maintenance and safe use of laboratory materials.
Student Assessment
Prepare tests, quizzes, and assignments.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain student records and progress reports.
Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Encourage student participation and curiosity.
Support slow learners and provide remedial instruction when required.
Administrative Responsibilities
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Participate in curriculum planning and school academic activities.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
