SEC Reporting Analyst

Role Description
We are looking for a SEC Reporting Analyst to join our team.
You will report to the Director of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting.
Location
Hybrid role – working at least 3 days a week from our office in Bangalore.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assist with the preparation of external financial reporting and supporting schedules, including 10-Q's, 10-K's and 8-K's, governmental statutory reporting, and management financial reporting as required.
- Assist in earnings release process including preparation of the quarterly management reporting package and review of financial information included in the earnings release and script.
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations in assigned areas (e.g. stock-based compensation, lease accounting and equity accounting etc.).
- Assist with annual audit requests.
- Prepare the annual and interim disclosure checklists.
- Review of XBRL tagging prepared by external consultants.
- Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley requirements are met for assigned areas (e.g. disclosure, lease and equity accounting controls).
- Assist with ad hoc requests as needed.
What You Should Have
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or chartered accountant preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience; mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience preferred.
- Highly detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and proactive. Must have strong work ethic and be able to meet critical deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to research and interpret accounting guidance and draft accounting memos to support conclusions.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Knowledge and experience Oracle Cloud highly preferred.
