Search Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Search Engineer with expertise in search technologies, Python, and cloud platforms. This role involves building and optimizing scalable search systems, improving search relevance, and integrating modern AI/ML techniques into search solutions. Apache SolR or Elastic Search or Open Search

Knowledge and expertise in API Development, API Gateways etc.

Knowledge of AWS Ecosystem (ECS/EKS, Lambda, Cloudformation)

Strong knowledge of Search - tokenization, stemming etc.

CI/CD & Test Automation for Unit, Integration and Performance

5+ years hands-on experience with Apache Solr and/or OpenSearch (schema design, indexing pipelines, query parsing, clustering, replication).

3+ years professional .NET (C#) development, including asynchronous patterns and dependency-injection frameworks.

Proven track record deploying workloads on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation or CDK).

Solid understanding of search relevance concepts: tokenization, stemming, analyzers, boosting, query-time vs index-time strategies.

CI/CD and automated testing expertise (unit, integration, performance).
