We are looking for an SEO / AEO Specialist who can take ownership of organic growth and AI search visibility for Yethi.in and related digital assets.
Role Overview
We are seeking an SEO / AEO Specialist with around 3 years of hands‑on experience who can significantly grow organic visibility, high‑intent traffic, and qualified leads from both traditional search engines (SEO) and AI/LLM‑driven answer engines (AEO/GEO/LLM).
You will lead end‑to‑end organic strategy for Yethi.in, including technical SEO, on‑page optimization, content collaboration, and optimization for AI Overviews and LLM search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute an SEO roadmap to grow impressions, rankings, and qualified organic traffic for key product, solution, and use‑case pages.
- Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis for BFSI testing, QA automation, test platforms, and related topics, and map them to landing pages and content assets.
- Monitor rankings, traffic, CTR, and conversions using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools, and continuously optimize based on data.
2. Technical SEO
- Perform regular technical SEO audits to ensure proper crawlability, indexation, and overall site health (site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile friendliness, HTTPS, redirects, canonical tags).
- Optimize site architecture, internal linking, URL structures, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and pagination.
- Work with developers to implement technical recommendations (schema markup, lazy loading, performance fixes, code clean‑up) and validate successful implementation.
3. AEO / LLM / AI Search Optimization
- Optimize Yethi's presence in AI Overviews and answer engines (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and others) so that our content is easily discovered, consumed, and cited by LLMs.
- Implement and manage structured data (FAQ, Article, Organization, Product/Service, HowTo, Breadcrumb schema) to strengthen rich results and answer eligibility.
- Apply Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) tactics focused on entities, knowledge graph alignment, and topical authority.
- Regularly test how Yethi appears in AI answers for priority queries and iterate content/technical changes to improve coverage and share of voice.
4. On‑Page & Content Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to brief, review, and optimize blogs, case studies, solution pages, and resources for SEO and AEO.
- Create on‑page optimization guidelines for each content type (H1/H2 structure, metadata, internal linking, content depth, keyword placement, EEAT signals).
- Use AI‑assisted SEO/content tools (SurferSEO, Clearscope, Frase, or similar) to guide content around topics, entities, and questions that matter for both search engines and LLMs.
5. Analytics, Reporting, and Experimentation
- Define and track core KPIs: organic sessions, non‑brand vs brand traffic, keyword ranking distribution, CTR, conversions/leads, and AI answer visibility.
- Build simple dashboards or reports (Looker Studio/Sheets/other) to share weekly and monthly performance, insights, and action items with stakeholders.
- Run experiments (e.g., title/description tests, on‑page changes, internal link updates) and report the impact on traffic and conversions.
6. Off‑Page & Authority Building (Preferred)
- Identify opportunities for high‑quality backlinks, digital PR, and mentions across relevant BFSI, QA, and technology ecosystems.
- Work with partners, directories, and industry listings to strengthen brand authority and entity recognition for Yethi across search and AI engines.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3–4 years of proven hands‑on experience in SEO, ideally with some exposure to AEO / GEO / LLM‑driven search optimization.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO: site architecture, crawl budget, indexation, structured data, canonicalization, Core Web Vitals, and mobile‑first principles.
- Solid on‑page SEO experience including keyword research, intent analysis, content optimization, and internal linking.
- Experience using major SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and at least one keyword tool (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, etc.).
- Working knowledge of schema.org and JSON‑LD, and experience implementing FAQ/Article/Organization or similar schema with developer or CMS support.
- Good understanding of how LLMs and AI search engines retrieve and present information, and how content/technical structure influence those results.
- Ability to collaborate closely with developers, content creators, and marketing stakeholders and convert SEO requirements into clear tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and convert it into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice‑to‑Have
- Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, BFSI, or QA/testing domains.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools to connect SEO performance with leads and pipeline.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and common CMSs (e.g., WordPress or custom frameworks) to implement minor on‑page changes.
- Experience building custom dashboards (Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar) for SEO reporting.
- Practical habit of monitoring brand visibility inside AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.) and documenting results.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
- Significant growth in non‑brand organic traffic and rankings for high‑intent keywords related to BFSI testing, QA automation, and Yethi's core offerings.
- Frequent and accurate presence of Yethi's content in AI Overviews and LLM answers for target topics.
- Improved site health and Core Web Vitals, with clean indexation and sound technical foundations.
- Clear reporting that ties SEO/AEO activities to leads and business outcomes.
