SEO Specialist - Scala Asia-Pacific

Location: Noida, India

Experience: 3-6 years

Role Type: Full‑time, On‑site 

Scala Asia-Pacific is looking for a result-driven SEO Specialist. At Scala Asia‑Pacific, we power digital experiences across retail, QSR, airports and enterprises. We are looking for a performance‑driven SEO Specialist to lead organic growth across our digital ecosystem, with a primary focus on India, Singapore, Australia, and Japan.

You will design and execute SEO strategies that improve search visibility, traffic quality and conversions for our regional websites and content programs. This role sits at the intersection of technical SEO, content strategy and data analytics, and gives you the opportunity to shape how our brand appears in search engines across diverse APAC markets and evolving AI‑driven search experiences.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to grow organic visibility and traffic across Scala Asia‑Pacific's priority markets: India, Singapore, Australia and Japan.
  • Conduct market‑specific keyword, topic and competitor research to identify growth opportunities across different regions and audience segments.
  • Optimize on‑page elements (metadata, internal linking, content structure, schema markup and landing pages) for local search intent and user experience.
  • Partner with content, regional marketing and web teams to create and optimize content aligned with search intent, E‑E‑A‑T principles, and regional business priorities.
  • Lead technical SEO initiatives including crawl-ability, indexation, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalisation, site architecture and Core Web Vitals improvements.
  • Monitor SEO performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console and leading SEO platforms, and translate data into actionable insights through clear reporting.
  • Support off‑page SEO through quality link‑building, digital PR and authority‑building initiatives relevant to each target market.
  • Track search engine updates, AI‑driven search trends and evolving best practices to keep the SEO strategy current and competitive.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3–6 years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably managing campaigns across multiple APAC markets
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush / Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and structured data (schema markup).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, spot trends and recommend clear actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights to marketing, product and technical teams.
  •  Comfort working in a fast‑paced, agile environment and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI‑assisted SEO tools (e.g., for content optimisation, SERP analysis, or workflow automation).
  • Understanding of international SEO and multi‑region targeting (hreflang, geo‑targeting, local language nuances).Exposure to conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and UX principles.
  • Knowledge of content marketing and digital PR strategies.
