Job Title: SEO & GEOSpecialist

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SEO & GEOSpecialist to lead and drive Oben Electric's organic growth strategy across traditional search engines and AI-powered search platforms (AEO/GEO). This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and continuously optimizing SEO roadmap, improving website visibility, increasing organic traffic, and strengthening Oben's digital authority through technical SEO, content optimization, entity optimization, and backlink acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Strategy and Execution
- Own and execute Oben's end-to-end SEO strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and enhance website visibility
- Conduct keyword research, on-page, and off-page optimization to maximize search performance
2. Technical SEO
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits and resolve indexing, crawling, rendering, and site architecture issues
- Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicals, redirects, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and page speed improvements
- Monitor website health using Google Search Console and SEO tool
- Coordinate with the website team to implement technical recommendations
3. Off-page SEO & Backlink Strategy
- Develop and execute backlink acquisition strategies to improve Domain Authority and search rankings
- Identify and secure high-quality backlinks through publisher outreach, digital PR, guest articles, partnerships, and industry listings
- Monitor backlink profile and eliminate harmful or low-quality links
4. On-page SEO & Content Optimization
- Optimize landing pages, product pages, blogs, FAQs, and category pages
- Create SEO content briefs & write content along with content writers
- Improve internal linking, metadata, schema implementation, image optimization, and content structure
- Ensure all new website launches and updates follow SEO best practices.
5. AEO / GEO (AI Search Optimization)
- Develop strategies to improve Oben's visibility across AI-powered search platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.
- Optimize content for conversational search and answer-engine visibility.
- Strengthen entity optimization for the Oben brand and products using structured data and semantic SEO
- Track prompt visibility and AI search performance, recommending improvements based on emerging trends
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Utilize tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Zoho One CRM for tracking, analysis, and reporting
- Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize campaign performance and user experience
What We're Looking For
- Education: Advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) in Digital Marketing or related field
- Experience: 3+ years in digital marketing, with expertise in SEO and website management
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Screaming Frog, Microsoft Clarity, and Looker Studio
- Familiarity with structured data, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and website architecture
- Analytical mindset with strong skills in data interpretation, A/B testing, and attribution modelling
- Knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in digital marketing
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web development processes (preferred but not mandatory)
