About the Role

As a content writer with SEO focus, you will research, plan, and write compelling blog posts, articles, landing pages, product copy, email newsletters, and social media content.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner to uncover content opportunities.
• Optimize on-page SEO elements meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, and content structure - to improve SERP rankings.
• Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing goals and campaign timelines.
• Collaborate with the SEO, design, and marketing teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and strategy.
• Track content performance via Google Analytics and Search Console; iterate based on traffic, rankings, and engagement data.
• Identify and fill content gaps through competitive research and audience analysis.
• Repurpose long-form content into social posts, infographics, newsletters, and other formats.
• Stay current with Google algorithm updates, AI search trends, and content marketing best practices.

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of proven experience as a content writer with a strong SEO focus.
• Demonstrated portfolio of published content that has ranked well organically.
• Solid understanding of on-page SEO, keyword strategy, and content architecture.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console).
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar.
• Excellent research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI writing tools and ability to prompt, review, and refine AI-generated content.
• Familiarity with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) for AI-driven search platforms.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for content formatting.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
