Job Description

As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving the online presence of our organization or clients. Your primary focus will be on implementing strategies to increase organic search rankings, drive traffic to websites, and enhance overall visibility in search engine results. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective SEO campaigns and stay abreast of industry trends to ensure the continued success of our digital marketing efforts.

Job Responsibilities

• Keyword Research: Identify high-performing keywords by analysing search volume, competition, and user intent.
• On-Page Optimization: Enhance website content and structure with best practices for meta tags, headers, and URLs.
• Technical SEO: Address technical issues affecting performance; collaborate with developers for SEO-friendly changes.
• Content Strategy: Create and optimize content that meets both user needs and SEO goals.
• Link Building: Develop strategies to enhance website authority and manage backlink profiles, disavowing harmful links.
• Analytics and Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to track performance and generate reports on key metrics.
• Industry Trends: Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Competitor Analysis: Analyse competitor strategies to refine our approach.
• Collaboration: Work with content creators and marketing teams to integrate SEO into overall initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools.
