Job Title: Search Engine Specialist (SEO Specialist)
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and performance-driven Search Engine Specialist to improve our website visibility, rankings, and organic traffic. The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies, analyzing performance, and optimizing websites to achieve higher search engine rankings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve rankings
- Perform on-page SEO activities (meta tags, content optimization, internal linking, URL structuring)
- Execute off-page SEO strategies including link building and outreach
- Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes (site speed, mobile optimization, crawl issues, indexing)
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
- Optimize website content based on search intent and SEO best practices
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion performance
- Work closely with content, design, and development teams for SEO implementation
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends
- Prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in SEO or search engine marketing
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Tag Manager
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic website structures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
- Knowledge of content marketing and keyword mapping
- Experience in WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Basic understanding of paid search (Google Ads)
