Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and performance-driven SEO Specialist with 2 to 4 years of experience in improving organic visibility and asserting strong dominance across search engine results pages (SERPs) as well as generative and AI-driven search experiences. The role focuses on building strong SEO fundamentals while actively driving top-of-SERP placements, featured snippet ownership, People Also Ask coverage, voice search visibility, and inclusion within AI-generated and generative search responses through Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) practices.
You will work closely with content, growth, and web teams to implement best practices that ensure authoritative presence, sustained SERP leadership, and competitive visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging generative search platforms, driving long-term, future-ready organic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword and query research using tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Keyword Planner, and related platforms.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices, but not limited to optimization of titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and overall content structure.
- Lead and execute off-page SEO initiatives including ethical link-building, authority-building, and brand mention strategies.
- Optimize content for featured snippets, FAQs, People Also Ask (PAA), and voice search queries to strengthen SERP dominance.
- Lead in structuring and optimizing content for improved visibility across AI-generated, answer-based, and generative search platforms.
- Develop and maintain scalable content architecture using parent-child pages, topic clusters, and internal linking frameworks.
- Conduct deep-dive SEO, SERP, and competitor research to identify ranking gaps, content opportunities, and visibility challenges.
- Translate research findings into clear reports with actionable insights, recommendations, and SEO/AEO/GEO strategies aligned with business goals.
- Track, analyze, and interpret performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and spreadsheets to measure impact and progress.
- Prepare regular performance reports highlighting growth trends, challenges, wins, and next-step actions for stakeholders.
- Conduct advanced technical SEO checks related to indexing, crawlability, page speed, sitemap health, and on-site SEO hygiene.
- Collaborate closely with content and marketing teams to align SEO initiatives with campaigns, launches, and business priorities.
- Manage and coordinate with external SEO agencies or vendors, ensuring deliverables, quality standards, timelines, and strategies are met.
- Review agency outputs, validate recommendations, and ensure alignment with internal SEO strategy and performance goals.
- Stay updated with search algorithm changes, SEO trends, and evolving AI-search practices, and translate them into strategies that establish and sustain dominance across search and AI-driven discovery channels.
- Lead and dominate local SEO initiatives including Google Business Profile optimization and NAP consistency across platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SEO or digital marketing roles.
- Working experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, GA4, and Google Search Console.
- Hands-on working knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, etc.
- Strong understanding of AEO concepts such as featured snippets, FAQs, and People Also Ask (PAA), with hands-on experience optimizing content for these surfaces.
- Solid understanding of GEO concepts related to AI-generated search results, with demonstrated experience actively working on their implementation.
- Awareness of basic web and coding concepts with working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from an SEO and optimization perspective.
- Awareness of, or experience working with, CRM systems and marketing automation tools, and their integration with SEO and digital marketing efforts.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort working with data, reports, and performance insights.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with content, marketing, web, and cross-functional teams.
