We are looking for a freelance SEO specialist who can help us build and execute a structured SEO roadmap with the goal of achieving organic search leadership in our category.
Role Overview
This is not a routine keyword SEO role. We are looking for someone who understands how to build topical authority, scalable content systems, and long-term organic dominance. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, developing strategy, and executing it.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Page SEO
- Conduct full SEO audit (technical structure, crawlability, indexing, site architecture)
- Build keyword strategy aligned with search intent and business goals
- Develop topical clusters and internal linking architecture
- Optimize existing pages and recommend new SEO landing pages
- Implement schema and structured data where relevant
2. Content Strategy
- Identify high-intent keyword opportunities
- Build topical authority through content clusters
- Prepare SEO content briefs and outline structures
- Work with content writers to ensure SEO-optimized articles
3. Off-Page SEO
- Build high-quality backlinks from relevant websites
- Develop authority-building strategies (digital PR, linkable assets)
- Perform competitor backlink analysis
4. Generative Engine Optimization
- Structure content to improve visibility in AI-driven search environments
- Optimize pages for semantic search, featured snippets, and citation signals
- Help position the website to be referenced in generative search results
