Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Assist in on-page SEO optimization including meta titles, descriptions, header tags, and internal linking
- Support keyword research using tools like Semrush/Ahrefs/Google Keyword Planner, identifying primary and secondary keywords for content
- Help implement and troubleshoot schema markup (Organization, FAQ, Breadcrumb, Article, etc.) to improve search visibility and rich results
- Make basic HTML/CSS edits to web pages for on-page SEO fixes (title tags, alt text, heading structure, minor layout tweaks)
- Conduct competitor analysis and content gap research
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4)
- Assist with technical SEO audits - broken links, duplicate content, canonical tags, crawlability issues
- Support content team with SEO-friendly content briefs and on-page recommendations
- Track keyword rankings and prepare periodic performance reports
- Stay updated on search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices
