Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive SEO Executive / SEO Intern (E-commerce) who has an interest in optimizing online stores and product-based websites. The role involves working on category pages, product pages, and content to improve search rankings and drive qualified traffic.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-page SEO for E-commerce websites (product pages, category pages, collections)
Optimize product titles, descriptions, URLs, meta tags, and images
Conduct keyword research focused on commercial and transactional keywords
Execute off-page SEO and link-building strategies
Monitor SEO performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Identify and resolve basic technical SEO issues (indexing, page speed, schema, broken links)
Assist with content optimization for blogs and landing pages
Track rankings, traffic, and conversions and prepare SEO reports
Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and E-commerce SEO trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic understanding of SEO and E-commerce SEO concepts
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console
Knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs/SEMrush (basic level)
Understanding of CMS/E-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar preferred)
Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
