Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and driven SEO Manager to lead and execute advanced search engine optimization strategies for our clients across various industries. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO, have hands-on experience working with ranking tools, and be confident in driving measurable improvements in organic traffic, keyword visibility, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic SEO Planning
- Develop tailored SEO strategies based on industry, competition, and business objectives
- Perform detailed keyword research and mapping for service pages, blogs, and landing pages
- Create monthly SEO roadmaps and define execution priorities
- Conduct full website audits to identify issues affecting crawlability, indexing, and ranking
- Optimize meta tags, headers, content structure, and internal linking
- Implement schema markup, sitemaps, redirections, canonical tags, and structured data
- Collaborate with developers to resolve core web vitals, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and UI/UX issues
Content Planning
- Create content briefs and topic clusters based on keyword strategy and search opportunities
- Provide guidance to writers for SEO-optimized content
- Track content performance and recommend improvements
Off-Page SEO & Link Building
- Plan high-quality and white-hat link acquisition strategies
- Monitor backlink profile and identify toxic links
- Create authority-building strategies, including citations, outreach, and PR links
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic growth, and conversion goals
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports for internal and client review
- Identify issues proactively and recommend actionable improvements
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 35 years of professional SEO experience
- Strong proficiency in website audits, technical SEO fixes, and on-page optimization
- Advanced understanding of Google search algorithms, updates, and ranking factors
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Ability to analyse data and convert insights into actionable strategies
- Strong understanding of US/Canada market (preferred)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multi-industry SEO campaigns
- Exposure to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and similar CMS platforms
- Knowledge of AI-SEO tools or AI-based content workflow is an advantage
