Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Intern (Non Paid) will support the digital marketing team in improving website visibility and organic search performance. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves assisting with keyword research, on-page optimization, and basic SEO audits for client and internal projects. The intern will help monitor performance using web analytics tools, contribute to link-building activities, and prepare simple reports on rankings and traffic trends. Day-to-day tasks may include updating meta tags, optimizing content, reviewing site structure, and coordinating with designers and developers to implement SEO recommendations. The role offers hands-on training, mentorship from experienced professionals, and exposure to live projects in a fast-paced IT services environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform keyword research and basic on-page SEO optimization.
• Understanding of SEO audits and familiarity with common SEO tools.
• Interest or experience in link building and off-page SEO activities.
• Exposure to web analytics platforms and comfort interpreting basic traffic metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and collaborate in a team environment.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Genuine interest in digital marketing, search engine algorithms, and staying updated on SEO best practices.
