Job Description:

The SEO Specialist is responsible for improving the websites of clients to increase web traffic. They focus on keyword research, limiting the repetition of content and building links. The SEO Specialist works on technical audits, site-migration and works with the cross-departmental team in implementing recommended SEO changes for improved site visibility in search engines.

Responsibilities:

Develop content optimization strategies that increase client's search engine results rankings

Research SEO keywords to use throughout the websites

Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts

Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance

Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy

Work on backlinking Strategies to Drive Traffic and Domain Authority

Understanding of on page/off page SEO concepts

Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings

Ability to summarize data concisely

Requirements and skills:

Deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of recent history of Google algorithm updates

Knowledge of the core fundamental principles of SEO and its purpose

Experience with programming languages such as PHP and JavaScript, HTML/CSS

Knowledge of social media platforms and its usage

Ability to multi-task and open to changing direction
