Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Implementation
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Develop and execute on-page optimization strategies including meta tags, headers, content optimization, and internal linking
- Implement technical SEO improvements including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability enhancements
- Create and maintain SEO content calendars aligned with business objectives
Content & Analytics
- Collaborate with content teams to optimize existing content and guide new content creation for SEO performance
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs
- Generate regular SEO reports showing traffic growth, keyword rankings, and conversion metrics
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues that impact search visibility
Research & Optimization
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices
- Perform competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in our SEO strategy
- Optimize local SEO elements including Google My Business profiles and local citations
- Support link building initiatives and outreach campaigns
Experience & Skills
- Freshers with relevant SEO certifications or candidates with at least 6 months of experience in SEO or a related field.
- Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog and familiar with on-page, off-page and technical SEO practices.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify, along with basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, website architecture and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with hands-on experience using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel to track performance and generate SEO reports.
- Ability to support SEO strategies, manage multiple tasks and client accounts and contribute to achieving business objectives.
- Passionate about learning, staying updated with SEO trends and algorithm changes and leveraging AI tools to improve content and SEO processes.
