As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers promises. You will be joining our Customer Care Team to add your expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer Excellence.

Utilizing your demonstrated superior Sea Logistics product + trade knowledge this role is primarily tasked with developing + diversifying business so that income increases, guaranteeing the futuregrowth of the organization.

How you create impact

  • To own, monitor + drive all sales activities of customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified and nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable and sustainable customer deals.
  • To align your sales efforts with CCL Managers, Pricing and Sea Logistics Business Development teams, including pricing decisions.
  • To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.
  • To report customer feedback to the CCL team, supporting resolutions as required.
  • To align with CCL colleagues when onboarding new customers.
  • To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.
  • To regularly review customer portfolios with the CCL Managers and team.
  • To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the CCL.

What we would like you to bring

  • Proven experience in Sea Logistics sales, freight forwarding, or supply chain solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Sea Logistics products, trade lanes, and shipping processes.
  • Ability to identify, develop, and close profitable business opportunities.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and account handling skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work closely with Pricing, Customer Care, and Business Development teams.
  • Experience in managing sales pipelines and achieving sales targets.
  • Good understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and service quality orientation.
