Sales / GTM Intern (SDR) — CustomFit.ai

Location: Remote (India)

Duration: 6 months, full-time 

Stipend: Paid (monthly) 

Reports to: Afrin/ Head of Growth and Partnerships — direct 1:1 mentorship 

PPO: Performance-based full-time offer for top performers

CustomFit.ai is an AI-powered website personalization and conversion rate optimization (CRO) platform built for D2C and e-commerce brands. About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, hungry intern to join our GTM team and work directly with me on building the top of our sales funnel. You'll be trained 1:1 on outbound sales fundamentals — from finding the right D2C brands, to qualifying them against our ICP, to writing cold emails that actually get replies. This is a hands-on role where you'll own real pipeline from week one. If you're curious about how modern SaaS sales works and want to learn from the inside, this is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead research & list building — Identify high-fit D2C and e-commerce brands using LinkedIn, Apollo, Lusha, and other tools. Build clean, segmented prospect lists with verified decision-maker contacts.
  • ICP qualification & lead scoring — Tag and score every lead against our Ideal Customer Profile (traffic, tech stack, GMV, category). Maintain CRM hygiene in Zoho so the pipeline stays sharp.
  • Cold outreach (email + LinkedIn) — Draft and send hyperpersonalized cold emails and LinkedIn messages. Run sequences, track replies, and iterate on what works.
  • Demo prep & sales collateral — Build custom demo decks, run quick site audits for prospects, and prepare follow-up materials that move deals forward.

What We're Looking For

  • Final-year student or fresh graduate (any discipline)
  • Strong written English — you can write a cold email that doesn't sound like a cold email
  • Genuine interest in D2C, e-commerce, and how online brands grow
  • Comfortable with Google Sheets and willing to learn AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to 10x your output
  • Bonus: prior exposure to Apollo, Lusha, ZoomInfo,Zoho, or any CRM
  • Self-starter who takes feedback well and iterates fast
