Hands-on experience in working with test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Java.

Experience in Designing and working with BDD testing specifications.

Proven experience in performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, and functionality.

Ability to create test strategies and plans for manual and automated test methods.

Experience in Core Java, Junit and SQL as supporting skills.

Experienced in comprehensive analysis of any errors found using logs, database queries, and file system.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

Selenium WebDriver with Java only

Functional Testing and other testing BAU types with Test Phases etc.

BDD Frameworks: Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG as per project setup

Automation Frameworks: Page Object Model / Data-Driven Frameworks as per project setup

Build Tools: Maven, Gradle as per project setup.

API Testing: Postman as per project setup

Good to Have-

Database Testing: SQL, Oracle as per project setup

Understanding of cloud platforms and DevOps pipelines

Experience in Regulatory compliance

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Familiarity with performance testing tools like Jmeter etc. if needed.

OTHER BAU QA SKILLS (Supporting Skills)

Experience with test data identification and creation

Have a good understanding of non-functional test concepts and patterns (e.g., availability, scalability, performance, and security)

Experience in leveraging Gitlab.

Financials services tech background, preferably in Regulatory compliance

Ability to work analytically and systematically throughout the development life cycle.

Experience of Agile and iterative development methodologies

Well-developed business communication skills both written and verbal

Strong personal prioritization and time management

Methodology knowhow on how to ensure that project deliverables meet industry best practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)
