Roles and Responsibilities:

What is your role going to be

  • Hands-on Specialist Software Development Engineer in Test in an agile team using Microsoft.net technology stack
  • Active contribution in all aspects of software development from requirements to deployment, and even beyond
  • Collaborate effectively with various roles across geographical sites to succeed with team deliverables
  • Provide test strategy, design, implementation for user stories and features
  • Contribute towards continuously improving and modernizing the QA Practices
  • Learn & share, contribute towards building a knowledge organization

Role Info

  • Specialist SDET in an agile team
  • Responsibilities include, but not limited to programming, testing, test automation, requirements engineering, executing regressions, and supporting product deployments.

What are we looking for

  • Good hands-on programming experience on C# or Java (mandatory)
  • 10 or more years of hands-on software automation test experience, at least two of those in large enterprise-grade software
  • Good hands-on experience with automated API tests, UI tests (Selenium)
  • Exposure to applying BDD using SpecFlow or similar frameworks
  • Experience working based on agile methodologies. Good understanding of user stories and iterative development is required
  • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Basic database development using Microsoft SQL
  • Effective communication using English and good networking skills are essential for this role
  • Proven experience in operating within a global environment
  • A good understanding of the payment domain would be an added advantage
  • Working experience with automated testing in CI/CD pipelines
  • Clean code, best practices for high maintainability
  • This is not an exhaustive list; fulfilling other duties as assigned is expected from this role
