Role Summary

Role Description

We are looking for aSoftware Development Engineer in Test (SDET)who is passionate about quality and automation. As an SDET, you will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to design, develop, andmaintainautomated test frameworks and ensurehighqualitysoftware delivery at scale.

. Design, develop, andmaintainautomated test frameworksfor web, mobile, and API testing

. Writeclean, maintainable, and reusable test codeusingindustrystandardtools and frameworks

. Collaboratewith developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies

. Performfunctional, integration, regression, system, andendtoendtesting

. Automatetests across UI, API, and backend layers

. Identify, log, track, and verify defects, ensuringtimelyresolution

. Integrateautomated tests intoCI/CD pipelines

. Participatein code reviews, test plan reviews, and sprint ceremonies

. Continuouslyimprove test coverage, quality metrics, and automation reliability

. Mentorjunior QA/SDET team members (for mid/senior roles)

Core/Must have skills

8+ years of relevant experience

Strong programming skills inJava / Python / C# / JavaScript

Handson experience withtest automation frameworkssuch as:

Selenium, Playwright, Cypress

Appium (for mobile testing)

Experience testingRESTful APIsusing tools like Postman,RestAssured, or similar

Knowledge oftest design patterns, test data management, and mocking/stubbing

Familiarity withCI/CD tools(Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.)

Experience withversion control systems(Git)

Understanding ofAgile/Scrummethodologie

Knowledge ofBDD frameworks(Cucumber,SpecFlow)

Strong analytical andproblemsolvingskills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

High attention to detail with aqualityfirstmindset

Ability to work independently and incrossfunctionalteams

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies

Good to have skills

Experience withperformance testingtools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)

Exposure tocloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience withcontainerization(Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience testing microservices architectures
