SDET/ QA Engineer - Immediate joiner only & F2F interview is mandatory

Critical Skills to Possess:

Purpose: To validate and verify new features developed on the Invenco Cloud Services platform (ICS) and regression testing existing capability to ensure our high standards of product quality are maintained for our internal and external customers.

Core functions:

Test Strategy and Planning

• Define the overall test automation strategy for the application- UI and APIs
• Participate in requirement analysis and identify test scope, risks, and dependencies.
• Create test plans, test strategies according to quality assurance standards.

Test Automation Development and Delivery

• Operate and improve Invenco Test frameworks reliability, reporting, and execution speed
• Design and develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable UI, API, integration, and regression automation test suites
• Write automated test scripts using Playwright with javascript, typescript
• Hands-on BDD frameworks, ability to implement BDD approach in the automation areas given an opportunity
• Feature testing and delivery through Automation ( UI, API ) testing following Invenco Test framework
• Ensure frameworks are stable, maintainable, and easy for teams to use
• Optimize execution speed and reliability

Test Processes and Quality Standards

• Contribute to the best practices for test automation and quality engineering
• Track metrics such as defect density, pass/fail trends, and coverage
• Promote shift-left testing and early defect detection
• Prepare and manage test data for different scenarios
• Validate environment stability and configuration

Key technical skills expected,

• Good hands-on programming and technical automation skills- Playwright, Javascript, Typescript, BDD frameworks
• Hands-on working on API, Database Testing across applications
• Testing of Cloud hosted applications, AWS and customer facing applications
• Payments industry experience desirable but not essential
• Thorough understanding of SDLC
• Excellent technical skills including SQL, and troubleshooting abilities
• Familiarity with AI agents and large language models (LLMs), especially their application in automation, would be a valuable plus.
